Select the server to monitor

Before you begin

See Work with the Metric Browser.


The Metric Browser displays metrics available for a single server at a time. The Servers drop-down list displays all the servers in the domain.

To select a different server to monitor:

  1. Select the Metric Browser tab.
  2. Select the server from the Server drop-down list.
  3. Click Go.

    The MBeans from which data has been harvested for the selected server are displayed in the Types list box. If, however, the selected server is not running (is currently shut down), the drop-down list reverts back to the previously selected server.

  4. To refresh the list of MBeans from which data has been harvested, click Go again.
