Resume a server


If you have started a server in the STANDBY or ADMIN state, when you are ready for the server to receive requests other than administration requests:

  1. In the left pane of the Console, expand Environment and select Servers.
  2. In the Servers table, click the name of the server that you want to resume.
  3. Select Control > Start/Stop.
  4. In the Server Status table, select the check box next to the name of the server that you want to resume.
  5. Click Resume.
  6. On the Server Life Cycle Assistant page, click Yes to confirm.

    For information on how the server transitions from STANDBY or ADMIN to the RUNNING state, see Understanding Server States in the Server Life Cycle.

  7. To view status information related to this task, click the Task link in the Status of Last Action column.
