This figure shows the SOA Conceptual Architecture. At the top it shows the User Experience applications which include Sales, Services, Partners, and Customers. The User Experience applications all feed into the Composite Applications which go directly to the Oracle Service Bus. From Oracle Service Bus sits in the same Shared Services Infrastructure layer as the following services and processes:

• Presentation Services

• Shared Business Processes

• Shared Business Services

• Data & Access Services

  Data & Access Services provides connectivity to non-service-enabled assets such as Legacy Applications, Packaged Applications, Databases, and File Systems

Oracle Service provides interoperability with other parts of the service layer, such as the Service Registry, Security Services, and a Service Repository. Oracle Service bus also interacts with Service-Enabled Applications outside of the Shared Service Infrastructure.
