This graphic compares the directory structure of an Oracle Application Server 10g Release 3 (10.1.3) environment and an Oracle WebLogic Server domain.

On the left, the Oracle Application Server environment consists of an Oracle home that contains three folders: the j2ee folder, the opmn folder, and the Apache folder. An OC4J_Instance_1 folder resides inside the j2ee folder.

On the right, the Oracle WebLogic Server domain consists of a Middleware home folder, which contains a user_projects folder and a WLS_Home folder. The user_projects folder contains Domains folder, which in turn contains a folder for the domain. Inside the domain folder, which has the same name as the domain itself, there are folders fro the Admin Server and a managed server.
