Contents of the Tracker Installation Package

The installation package includes a Tracker 6.5.1 CD (or .zip file), and a Calligo 5.4 CD (or .zip file).

The Tracker installation CD (or .zip file) contains the following files and folders:

1. Config_Change

This folder contains registry (.reg) files required if you are upgrading Tracker Filing Edition to Tracker 6.5.1 with Launcher. For details, please see the Tracker 6.5.1 Upgrade Guide (for Oracle or Microsoft SQL) in the Manuals folder.

2. Database

This folder contains database scripts for creating new databases or upgrading existing ones. Refer to the instructions in the appropriate ReadMe files.

3. DotNet

This folder contains the files required to install Microsoft .NET Framework.

4. Manuals

This folder contains the PDF documentation files. You will need Adobe Acrobat Reader to view these files. You can download the free Acrobat Reader from www.adobe.com.

This folder also contains the files installed_files_MSSQL.xls and installed_files_Oracle.xls. They contain the names of the files that have been installed to the server and client.

5. Service Pack 4

This folder contains the files required to install Service Pack 4.

6. Setup

This folder contains the files required to install Tracker. To install the application, run setup.exe from this folder.

7. Tracker Status Plugin

This folder contains the files required to install the Tracker Status Plug-in. This plug-in allows Calligo users to search Tracker filing and attachment statuses from within Calligo.

8. ReadMe.html

This ReadMe file.

9. Tracker_6.5.1_Release_Notes.pdf

The Release Notes contain general product information, product enhancements and new features, supported platforms and third-party software, assorted considerations, and known issues and limitations.

Installing Tracker 6.5.1

To install Tracker 6.5.1 with the latest service pack, follow these steps:

a.   Complete the steps in Tracker_6.5.1_New_Install_Guide_MSSQL.pdf or Tracker_6.5.1_New_Install_Guide_Oracle.pdf.

Note:    Please note the following amendments to the install guides:

•      During the installation process, the License Agreement dialog has been removed.

•      On the Tracker-Registration/Industry/DMS Launcher Options dialog, the License Key field has been removed.

b.   Complete the steps in Readme.html located in the Service Pack 4 folder.
