Installing Service Pack 4
To install Service Pack 4, complete the steps in the following parts as appropriate for your environment:
• Part 1–Option 1: Tracker Monitor and File Server on Same Computer
- or-
Part 1–Option 2: Tracker Monitor and File Server on Different Computers
• Part 2: Installing the Service Pack on the Tracker Client Computer
• Part 3–Option 1: Database Update Script for Oracle
- or -
Part 3–Option 2: Database Update Script for MS SQL
Part 1–Option 1: Tracker Monitor and File Server on Same Computer
If you are using Oracle 9R2 database, and the Oracle ODBC driver version is older than 9.02.00.08, run ORA9208.exe on the server to uncompress the package and follow the instructions in readme.txt to upgrade the ODBC driver.
Part 1–Option 2: Tracker Monitor and File Server on Different Computers
If the Tracker Monitor and Tracker File Server are installed on different computers, complete the following procedures:
On the Tracker Monitor Computer
If you are using Oracle 9R2 database, and the Oracle ODBC driver version is older than 9.02.00.08, run ORA9208.exe to uncompress the package and follow the instructions in readme.txt to upgrade the ODBC driver.
On the Tracker File Server
If you are using Oracle 9R2 database, and the Oracle ODBC driver version is older than 9.02.00.08, run ORA9208.exe to uncompress the package and follow the instructions in readme.txt to upgrade the ODBC driver.
Part 2: Installing the Service Pack on the Tracker Client Computer
If you are using Oracle 9R2 database, and the Oracle ODBC driver version is older than 9.02.00.08, run ORA9208.exe to uncompress the package and follow the instructions in readme.txt to upgrade the ODBC driver on all Tracker clients.
Part 3–Option 1: Database Update Script for Oracle
Complete the steps in DBScripts\Oracle\Readme.rtf to load the Oracle database update script.
Part 3–Option 2: Database Update Script for MS SQL
Complete the steps in DBScripts\MSSQL\Readme.rtf to load the MS SQL database update script.
