For more information, see the Oracle TSAM Installation Guide.Monitored policy sets defined in Oracle TSAM 1.1 or Oracle TSAM 10gR3 can be exported to policy set definition files on the Oracle TSAM 1.1 or Oracle TSAM 10gR3 Console, and then imported to Oracle TSAM 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) via the TSAM Console.Oracle TSAM 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) provides a migration tool to import the alerts defined in Oracle TSAM 1.1 or Oracle TSAM 10gR3.If upgrading Oracle TSAM Agent from 1.1/10gR3 to 11gR1, you need to change the URL defined in CLOPT of LMS from //host:port/tsam/dataserver to //host:port/tsam.Performance metrics and alerts collected by TSAM 1.1 or Oracle TSAM 10gR3 Agent can be reported to Oracle TSAM 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) Manager.Oracle TSAM 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) Agent can work with TSAM 1.1 or Oracle TSAM 10gR3 Agent in MP and Domain mode.The following section describes known problems in Oracle TSAM 11g Release 1 (11.1.1.1.0) .
1. Problem: The Tomcat version embedded in TSAM 11.1.1.1 installer has security vulnerabilities. Platform: Generic Workaround: After installing TSAM 11.1.1.1, upgrade the embedded Tomcat version to 6.0.45 or later. For more information, see the Apache Tomcat official web site.
2. Problem: The Spring version embedded in TSAM 11.1.1.1 installer has security vulnerabilities. Platform: Generic Workaround: After installing TSAM 11.1.1.1, upgrade the embedded Spring version to 4.1.9 or later.
3. Problem: The Apache Commons Collections version embedded in TSAM 11.1.1.1 installer has security vulnerabilities.
