Description of the illustration con_authen

This figure describes the customer authentication and authorization process. The Billing Provider (BRM) is to the left and shows the Content Manager and BRM as its components. The Content Provider is at the center and shows the Content SDK and Content Server as its components. The Customer is shown to the right. The Customer uses a phone or a computer to send a request through the Internet or a carrier network to the Content Provider. The Content Provider uses Content SDK to forward the request to the BRM Content Manager for authentication and authorization (AA). BRM sends the AA response to the Content Provider. Depending on the response from the Content Manager, the Content Provider grants or denies the Customer's request.
