Description of the illustration con_cdk_authen

This figure describes the customer authentication and authorization process. The Customer is shown to the left and, to the right, the Content Provider is shown above the Billing Provider (BRM). The Customer uses a phone or a computer to send a request to the Content Provider. The Content Provider uses the Content SDK to forward the requests to the BRM Content Manager for authentication and authorization (AA). BRM Content Manager sends the AA response to the Content Provider. Depending on the response from the Content Manager, the Content Provider grants or denies the Customer access to the requested data.
