This chapter describes the tasks you perform to uninstall the Oracle Communications Billing and Revenue Management (BRM) software, the server application, and client applications from your computer.
For details on how to uninstall or reinstall Oracle database, see the database vendor's documentation for your platform.
Uninstalling BRM requires three tasks:
To uninstall optional components,
Back up the BRM database.
Stop all BRM daemons, processes, and managers.
See "Starting and Stopping the BRM System" in BRM System Administrator's Guide.
Log in as user pin.
Go to the directory where you installed the Third-Party package and source the source.me file:

source source.me.sh
C shell:
source source.me.csh
Run the BRM_Home/uninstaller/ProductName/uninstaller.bin program.
Note:
You can use the -console parameter to run the uninstallation in command-line mode.Select the features you want to uninstall, and follow the interactive prompts.
Note:
Optional components must be uninstalled before uninstalling BRM.To uninstall BRM,
Back up the BRM database.

This section describes how to uninstall BRM client applications on UNIX and Windows.
To uninstall BRM client applications on UNIX, you must manually delete the files from your computer.
To uninstall BRM client applications on Windows,
Back up the BRM database.
Do one of the following to start the uninstaller:
(Windows 8.1) Use the Windows uninstall feature.
(Other Windows versions) From the start options, select Uninstall ProductName, which is under Portal or use the Windows uninstall feature.
In the Uninstall Portal Components dialog, select one of the following:
View Components Only: This shows a list of BRM products currently installed on your Windows machine.
View Components and Features: This expands each BRM product and its components. This is useful for uninstalling individual components.
Select the component or feature you want to uninstall, and click Uninstall.
Follow the instructions on the screen.
