MySQL Installer Release Notes
This release was introduced with MySQL server 5.7.7.
MySQL Installer now accepts the DATADIR argument, and passes it to the MySQL server MSI. The MySQL server MSI writes this value to the DataLocation registry key. (Bug #20517243)
