The Oracle Web Access client loads your most recent messages immediately upon login, and continues to download your older messages in the background. Your messages will continue to download until all of them have been received, or until the number of messages reaches a limit set by your system administrator. Be patient; it may take a minute or two to receive all your messages, especially if you are on a low-bandwidth network connection, such as a 56 Kbps modem.

To access your mail while disconnected, use a desktop client (such as Microsoft Outlook with Oracle Connector for Outlook).
