Setting Up and Using Dispense Area and Dispensing Booths

Understanding Dispense Area and Dispense Booths

Oracle MES for Process Manufacturing lets you re-create a true systematic representation of how dispensing happens on the shop floor. You can identify specific areas for inbound and outbound material storage. A Dispense Area represents the physical area in a warehouse where a dispensing activity occurs. The Dispensing Area can be divided into smaller rooms called Dispensing Booths which are the specific locations for dispensing activities. You can monitor environmental conditions at the Dispensing Booth level. A Dispense Area does not require a Dispensing Booth. You may create more than one Dispensing Booth for each Dispense Area.

Setting up a model for representing your actual dispensing operation allows rapid monitoring of inventory material movement in and out of the Dispensing Booth. You can identify which Operators access these areas, and monitor other specifications and environmental conditions. Using these tools you can meet regulatory requirements and assure better compliance.
