Preface

The ELOM-to-ILOM Migration User’s Guide provides information and detailed procedures for converting Sun Fire X4150 and Sun Fire X4450 servers and Sun Blade X6250 and Sun Blade X6450 server modules from an Embedded Lights Out Manager (ELOM)-based system to an Integrated Lights Out Manager (ILOM)-based system. This document also provides information and procedures for migrating these servers from an ILOM-based system to an ELOM-based system. This document is written for technicians, system administrators, authorized service providers (ASPs), and users who have experience upgrading server hardware, software, and firmware.

These are called class options.

You must be superuser to do this.

To delete a file, type rm filename.




Note - Characters display differently depending on browser settings. If characters do not display correctly, change the character encoding in your browser to Unicode UTF-8.
