Solaris^TM (SPARC^TM Platform Edition) Reference Host Environment

Prerequisites for the Solaris host reference configuration are the following:

• Sun SPARCstation^TM.

• Solaris 2.6, or Solaris 7 (32-bit).

• Sun WorkShop^TM 5.0 native compiler.

  Note -

  In order for the CC compiler to work properly, all patches related to the CC compiler must have been installed on the Solaris system.

  ---

• JDK^TM 1.1.8, for the installation tool.

• JDK 1.2, for the graphical configuration tool and for Java^TM applications.
