The C_INIT(1M) built-in command, pdump, dumps a core image of the process having process ID pid as an ELF format file. More than one process can be dumped by passing multiple pid arguments.
The core file generated can be used through rdbd(1CC) by a debugger to perform a post-mortem analysis of the process.
Note: The CORE_DUMP
feature must be active for this command to work.
