HOT_RESTART
The C_INIT(1M) built-in command restart provokes a site restart. A site restart is a hot restart of the whole system. The data for all boot actors is reset to its original values, and the system enters its start-up phase again. As C_INIT restarts, sysadm.ini is executed again. Any calls to start restartable actors in the sysadm.ini file are ignored for a site restart, as all direct restartable actors are restarted automatically by the system once sysadm.ini has been read.
The restart command is equivalent to the shutdown(1M) command with the arguments -i 1, and the API call sysShutdown(2K) with the same arguments.
restart is restricted to trusted user actors and supervisor actors.
