#include <ipc/extDtLink.h>int svLinkFailure(unsigned int site, int reason);
The function or functions documented here may not be used safely in all application contexts with all APIs provided in the ChorusOS 5.0 product.
See API(5FEA) for details.
IPC_REMOTE
The svLinkFailure() system call notifies the microkernel that a failure was detected on the communication link with a remote site.
The site parameter designates the remote site with which the communication link is broken.
The reason parameter is a negative error code which specifies the reason of the failure. Currently, the reason parameter is ignored by the system which internally uses the K_ELINKFAILURE error code.
When invoked, the svLinkFailure() system call closes the connection established with the remote site, if any, and cancels all ipcCall(2K) issued by local threads to ports which are located on the remote site. Each of these threads will be returned the K_ELINKFAILURE error code.
The svLinkFailure() system call returns a value of 0 when successful. Otherwise, the K_EINVAL error code is returned.
