Client Systems FAQ

• Do I need to consider any special client needs or restrictions for use with a cluster?

  Client systems connect to the cluster as they would any other server. In some instances, depending on the data service application, you might need to install client-side software or perform other configuration changes so that the client can connect to the data service application. See individual chapters in Sun Cluster 3.0 U1 Data Services Installation and Configuration Guide for more information on client-side configuration requirements.
