Administrative Interfaces

You can choose how you install, configure, and administer the SunPlex system from several user interfaces. You can accomplish system administration tasks through the documented command-line interface. On top of the command-line interface are some utilities to simplify selected configuration tasks. The SunPlex system also has a module that runs as part of Sun Management Center that provides a GUI to certain cluster tasks. Refer to the introductory chapter in the Sun Cluster 3.0 U1 System Administration Guide for complete descriptions of the administrative interfaces.
