Confirmation Messages

The import utility prompts you to answer the following items before the operation is done or when the data conflicts:

• Warning message for confirmation – The following message asks you to confirm the import operation.

  The data being used is exported by <user name> on <mm/dd/yyyy>. The import operation will modify your topology database, are you sure you want to do this? [Yes/No]

  Enter y for Yes or n for No.

• Data conflicts – The following message asks you to decide what to do with conflicting data.

  The entity <entity name> already exists in your topology hierarchy, do you want to replace it? [Replace(r)/replace All(a)/Ignore(i)/iGnore all(g)/Stop(s)]

  Response values for this message include the following options:

  r

  Replaces the conflicting data with new values

  a

  Replaces all conflicting data with new values

  i

  Do not update the conflicting data

  g

  All conflicts are ignored and are left unchanged

  s

  Stops the import operation
