Preface

The Halcyon PrimeAlert® Agent for Linux (Linux Agent, for short) works with SunTM Management Center 3.5 Update 1. The Linux Agent enables Sun Management Center to monitor hosts running the Linux operating system. This document describes how to install and use the Linux Agent for Sun Management Center 3.5 Update 1.


Note –

In this document the term “x86” refers to the Intel 32–bit family of microprocessor chips and compatible microprocessor chips made by AMD.

This document is for users and system administrators who install and use the Sun Management Center software and the Linux Agent.
