This site planning guide provides site preparation guidelines and checklists for you prior to installing the Sun Fire
15K/12K systems. This document details information necessary to locate and plan a controlled environment for your new system. This information assists in the installation planning process. Worksheets to calculate system requirements are provided along with environmental and power specifications needed for this planning.
Chapter 1 provides recommended network configuration and worksheets for site-planning setups.
Chapter 2 details the basic computer room layout and cooling requirements.
