To Disable Managed Server Automatic Configuration

The following procedure disables the automatic configuration of manageable servers during discovery.

Steps

1. Log in as root on the management server.

2. Edit the /etc/opt/sun/n1gc/domain.properties file and add the following line to the file:

   com.sun.hss.domain.internal.discovery.initializeDevice=false

   The N1 System Manager system must be restarted for auto configuration disabling to take effect. Note that once auto configuration is disabled, any servers in a factory default state cannot be discovered until their SSH and IPMI accounts are configured.
