Definition
Used to define a Virtual List View search. The VLV search exists as an entry below the suffix cn=config, cn=ldbm and specifies the entry result set to be VLV indexed. The cn attribute is used as the naming component for the entry
A list of the VLV search specification DNs appear in the rootdse in the vlvsearches multi-valued attribute. Clients searching this list can use the list of DNs to retrieve all available VLV searches.
