 slapi_attr_type2plugin()
Gets a pointer to information about the syntax plug-in responsible for handling the specified attribute type.

Syntax

#include "slapi-plugin.h"
int slapi_attr_type2plugin( char *type, void **pi );

Parameters

The function has the following parameters:
type

Type of attribute that you want to get the plug-in for.
pi

Pointer to the plug-in structure.

Returns

0 if successful, or -1 if the corresponding plug-in is not found.

Description

Syntax plug-ins are plug-ins that you can write to index and search for specific attribute types.
