Initial Installation

During the initial installation of the N1 Provisioning Server software, the interface card is detected and configured by the N1 Provisioning Server installer utility. However, prior to the installation, you need to download and install the patch ID 112119-04 for Solaris 8.

To Download the Patch

1. Go to http://sunsolve.sun.com.

2. Click Patches.

3. Type the patch ID in the patch finder box.

4. Click Find Patch.

5. The patch is available for downloading in ZIP format. Select “Download Patch.”

   ---

   Note –

   Do not choose “Download Signed Patch.”

   ---

6. The Save Dialog appears.

7. Download the patch (ZIP file) to your local directory.

8. Copy the patch (ZIP file) to the N1 Provisioning Server.

To Install the Patch

1. Use the following command to uncompress the patch file:

   unzip 112119-04.zip

2. Add the patch using the following command:

   patchadd 112119-04
