To Remove an Unmanaged Ethernet Device

Steps

1. If the device is allocated to a farm, deactivate the farm.

2. Set the device to the FREE status by typing the command:

   device -s -F device-ID

3. Remove the device from the CPDB by typing the following command:

   device -d device ID

4. Physically remove the device from the I-Fabric.
