Container Manager Bugs

The following bugs might occur during the installation of Solaris Container Manager 1.1 software.

Agent Update for Container Manager Does Not Work on Solaris 10 Hosts (6268435)

If you used the Agent Update feature to update a Solaris 10 host with the Container Manager add-on, the update did not work.

To correct this situation, uninstall Container Manager and reinstall it by using the es-inst or es-guiinst command.

Workaround: To prevent this situation, perform one of the following procedures:

• Do not use the Agent Update feature on a Solaris 10 host.

• Use the es-makeagent command.

Erroneous Messages Displayed at End of Server Installation (6251360)

During the installation of the Server component, the following messages might be displayed if non-global zones already exist:

Booting local zone <abcd> for patch check... 
## waiting for zone <abcd> to enter single user mode...
## waiting for zone <abcd> to enter single user mode...
## waiting for zone <abcd> to enter single user mode... 
Restoring state for local zone <abcd>...

abcd is the name of the non-global zone.

Ignore these messages.
