Showing and Hiding Objects

Because the objects you store in the repository are deeply interconnected, it is not possible to delete objects. You can choose to hide objects that you are not currently using to keep your work space uncluttered.

Hiding an object does not make it inactive or unusable. For example, if a resource is referenced by a component and the resource is hidden, the next build of the component will still reference the resource. The resource is not deactivated or removed; it is simply hidden from view.

You can specify whether or not to show or hide the following objects.

• Hosts

• Host types

• Host sets

• Host searches

• Users

• Plans

• Components
