Configuring the N1 Grid Service Provisioning System – Process Overview

After you have installed the product and set up the communication protocol, you need to set up the provisioning system. Setting up the provisioning system involves the following general actions.

  1. Start the provisioning system applications.

    See Starting the N1 Grid Service Provisioning System Applications.

  2. Select and set up your user interface.

    See System User Interfaces.

  3. Configure your hosts.

    See Chapter 2, Managing Hosts, Host Types, Host Sets, and Host Searches.

  4. If necessary, configure external authentication login modules.

  5. Create user groups.

  6. Create user accounts.

  7. Set up the provisioning system's work space hierarchy.
