Sun LOM Target Host Variables

The following list shows all component variables for the Sun LOM target host. For those variables that have default values, the default is listed. For those variables that do not have default values, an example value is shown for illustration.

installPath

Description: Physical host name for the target system

Example: sunfire-v60x-host

target_host

Description: Virtual host name for the target system

Default value: :[installPath]-target

Description: Optional description of the target

Example: test v60x

ethernet_mac_address

Description: Mac address

Example: 00:0E:0C:07:E9:31

ethernet_ip_address

Description: IP address

Example: 10.42.42.77

ethernet_netmask

Description: Network mask

Default value: 255.255.255.0

architecture

Description: Target architecture (for example, sun4u, x86)

Default value: sun4u

kernel_arch

Description: Kernel architecture (sun4u, i86pc)

Default value: sun4u

disk_size

Description: Size of disk

Default value: 20GB

osp_control_service

Description: Whether to call the OSP Control Service, which automates power off, reboot, and power on functions (True, False)

Default value: TRUE

sps_ra_parent

Description: Name of parent for RA

Default value: masterserver

sps_ra_parent_type

Description: Whether RA parent is an MS or an LD

Default value: MS

sps_ra_host

Description: Name or IP address of RA host

sps_ra_conn

Description: Type of RA connection (raw, ssl, ssh)

Default value: raw

sps_ra_ssl_auth

Description: Whether RA has SSL authorization (y,n)

Default value: N

sps_ra_port

Description: Port for RA

Default value: 1131

sps_ra_adv_parms

Description: Advanced parameters for RA

disk_type

Description: SCSI or IDE

Default value: scsi

lom_version

Description: LOM version

lom_hal_jar

Description: Path to LOM HAL JAR file

Default value: file://:[targetableComponent:installPath]/SUNWn1osp/drivers/sun/lom.jar

terminal_server_ip_address

Description: IP address of terminal server connected to this system

Example: 10.5.133.135

terminal_server_port

Description: Port of terminal server

terminal_server_userid

Description: Terminal server user id

terminal_server_password

Description: Encrypted value for terminal server password

terminal_server_type

Description: Terminal server type

Default value: Cisco2621

terminal_server_version

Description: Terminal server version

terminal_server_hal_jar

Description: Path to terminal server HAL JAR file

Default value: file://:[targetableComponent:installPath]/SUNWn1osp/drivers/cisco/c2621.jar

power_service_true_false

Description: Does the network management interface provide power on/off service

Default value: true

boot_service_true_false

Description: Does the network management interface provide boot service (boot order disk/network)

Default value: true

console_service_true_false

Description: Does the network management interface provide console

Default value: false
