3.7.1 To Navigate the View Pane
The following table describes the keyboard shortcuts that enable you to navigate the list and icon views of the file manager view pane. To navigate the music view of the file manager view pane, see 3.8 Navigating Standard Elements and Controls for information about how to navigate standard user interface controls.

Select the next or previous file or folder in the direction of the arrow key. |

Give focus to the next or previous file or folder but do not select the item. |

Open the focused file or folder. |

A sequence of characters that matches the first n characters of a filename. |
In an icon view, select the first file or folder that starts with the specified sequence of characters. |
