Use the questions in this section to plan the installation and configuration of Sun Cluster HA for Sun ONE Application Server. Insert the answers to these questions into the “Data Service Configuration Worksheets and Examples” in Sun Cluster 3.1 Release Notes.

• Will you run Sun Cluster HA for Sun ONE Application Server as a failover data service or as a service mastered on multiple nodes at the same time?

• What resource groups will you use for network addresses, application resources, and the dependencies between network addresses and application resources?

• What is the logical hostname that clients use to access the data service?

• Where will the system configuration files reside?
