Figure 4 shows the sequence of tasks you perform immediately after you install Java Enterprise System to complete the configuration of the components. For more information about these tasks, see Table 3.
Task 1: This is optional. Verify your installation. Use the pkginfo command. See Java Enterprise System Installation Guide, Appendix D, "Packages for Installed Components ."
Task 2: Does your Java Enterprise System deployment include Sun Cluster software? If yes, continue with Task 3. If no, proceed to Task 4.
Task 3: Configure Sun Cluster software. See Java Enterprise System Installation Guide, Chapter 8, "Sun Cluster Configuration Tasks." Proceed to Task 4.
Task 4: Determine which components require postinstallation configuration. This depends on which component products you install and which configuration mode you use. See Java Enterprise System Installation Guide, Chapter 8, "Overview of Postinstallation Configuration."
Task 5: Configure component products using component product configuration tools. See Java Enterprise System Installation Guide, Chapter 8, for sections on each component product.
