Oracle Waveset 8.1.1 Release Notes

Chapter 1 Preface

These Release Notes contain important information that describes the new features and enhancements provided in Oracle Waveset 8.1.1 (Waveset). Read this document before you begin using Oracle Waveset 8.1.1.

Oracle Waveset was formerly known as Sun Identity Manager. This release of Oracle Waveset follows Oracle's acquisition of Sun Microsystems. Some parts of the product and documentation may still refer to the original Sun Identity Manager product name.

Oracle Waveset 8.1.1 Resources Reference

Provides information about installing, configuring, and using resource adapters. 

Oracle Waveset Service Provider 8.1.1 Deployment

Describes how to deploy Oracle Waveset Service Provider, and how views, forms, and resources differ from the standard Oracle Waveset product.  

Oracle Waveset 8.1.1 Web Services

Describes how to configure SPML support, which SPML features are supported (and why), and how to extend support in the field.
