Logical Domains 1.2 Release Notes

ldm stop Reports Timeout Too Soon For Large Domains

Bug ID 6839284: For logical domains that have at least 120 Gbytes of memory, the ldom stop or ldom stop -f command might indicate that the operation timed out. Even though the stop operation has timed out, the process continues to shut down the logical domain in the background.

Workaround: You can ignore the timeout indications because the logical domain will continue with the shutdown process.
