Avoiding ID Mapping Problems With ACLs

To avoid ID mapping problems, do the following:

• Make sure that the value for NFSMAPID_DOMAIN is set correctly in the /etc/default/nfs file.

• Make sure that all user and group IDs in the ACL entries exist on both the NFS version 4 client and server.
