How to Reset a USB Device
If a USB device behaves erratically, use the cfgadm command
to reset the device, which logically removes and re-creates the device.

Become superuser.

Make sure that the device is not in
use.

Reset the device.
For example:
# cfgadm -x usb_reset -y usb0/4.7

Verify that the device is connected.
For example:
# cfgadm usb0/4.7
