How to Restore Files in Trusted Extensions

1. Assume the System Administrator role.

   This role includes the Media Restore rights profile.

2. Use one of the following methods:

   • /usr/lib/fs/ufs/ufsrestore for major restores

   • /usr/sbin/tar xT for small restores

   • A script calling either of these commands

   For details on the T option to the tar command, see the tar(1) man page.
