Using Devices in Trusted Extensions (Task Map)
In Trusted Extensions, all roles are authorized to allocate a device. Like users, roles must use the Device Allocation Manager. The Solaris allocate command does not work in Trusted Extensions. The following task map points to user procedures that include using devices to perform administrative tasks.
