Sun GlassFish Communications Server is an easy, fast, and industry-leading application server based on JavaTM Platform, Enterprise Edition (Java EE) and SIP technology for developing and delivering web applications and web services. Sun GlassFish Communications Server enables you to build SIP applications and converged applications that are JSR 289–complaint. It provides superior performance, clustering, and high availability features for scalable, carrier-grade services that continue to operate despite software and hardware faults.
These Release Notes contain important information available at the time of release of Sun GlassFish Communications Server 1.5. Enhancements, known problems, and other late-breaking issues are addressed here. Read this document before you begin using Communications Server 1.5.
