Configuring the Library

Command: Configuration > Library

The library configuration screen displays the following:

< Microcode version

< Hardware version

< Build date (date of the firmware microcode)

You can modify the following library configuration information:

< SCSI ID

< Library location

< Date and time

To modify the SCSI ID:

1. Select the SCSI tab.

2. Select the SCSI Number from the pull down menu.

3. Click Apply.

4. Enter your library password and click OK.

Note: You must reboot the library to activate the new SCSI ID for the library. See the Rebooting the Library topic.

To modify the library location:

1. Select the Location tab.

2. Type the company address.

3. Type a brief description of the location.

4. Click Apply.

5. Enter your library password and click OK.

To modify the month/date/time:

1. Select the Date/Time tab.

2. To set the date, select the month by clicking on the 6 button, type the day, and year (four digits).

3. Set the time in hours, minutes, and seconds.

4. Click Apply.

5. Type your library password and click OK.

To display the new date and time set for the library, click Reload.
