Verifying the Tape Inventory

Command: Monitor > Tapes

The tape inventory screen provides information on the cartridges in the storage cells, the CAP, and the drives.

The cartridges are listed with their element ID, label, and the media type.

Tips! You can sort the tape inventory by ID, label, or media type. Click on the 6 or 5to sort in the ascending or descending order.
You can select one or more tapes (by holding the shift and clicking on the row).
Select the tape or tapes and then select Monitor > Cell Map; the selected tapes are highlighted in the cell map. This tip is useful when verifying the presence of a cleaning cartridge for a drive type.
