1. Confirm that the owner, group, and mode of the $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle file are as follows:

   • Owner: oracle

   • Group: dba

   • Mode: -rwsr-s--x

   # ls -l $ORACLE_HOME/bin/oracle

2. Confirm that the binary files for the Oracle listener exist in the $ORACLE_HOME/bin directory.
