SAI/P Update 2 Software

Sun uses a method of pre-patching a package for an update release. This allows for package updating without requiring a new patch to support it. The SAI/P 2.0 packages require Patch Number 106955-06, which is already applied. The SAI/P 3.0 Solaris 8 package requires Patch Number 109338-06, which is already applied. The new patch created for Solaris 9 support is also included in the new package.

To fully utilize the sitty and spm utilities add /opt/SUNWconn/bin to your PATH. Similarly, to fully utilize the included man pages for this driver and its utilities add
/opt/SUNWconn/man to your MANPATH.

Note - When removing or adding any SAI/P interface boards, run the
/etc/opt/SUNWconn/saip/bin/saipconfig script to clean up the device entry tables and devices.
