This guide is written for the software installer and storage administrator of the Sun StorEdge ESM Base Applications.

Users of this document should have knowledge or experience in the following areas:

How This Document Is Organized

Chapter 1 provides an overview of the ESM Base Applications and system requirements for each application.

Chapter 2 provides procedures for installing the ESM Base Applications.

Chapter 3 describes how to configure and use the Management Portal.

Chapter 4 describes how to configure and use Data Replication Manager.

Appendix A provides procedures for uninstalling the ESM Base Applications.
