To start and stop the SOCKS server from the command line

Run the scripts found in the server_root/proxy-serverid directory, where server_root is the installation root:

• start-sockd starts the SOCKS daemon

• stop-sockd stops the SOCKS daemon

• restart-sockd restarts the SOCKS daemon
