Summary of Directory Server Commands and Their Use
The tables in this section provide a summary of the directory server command-line
utilities and how they interact with the server. The tables use the following
legend:
- Remote
The command can be launched on a remote server
- Offline
The command can be launched when the server is stopped
- Online
The command connects to a running server instance
- Administration Port Only
The command must use the administration connector to access the server (on port 4444 by default)
