设置安装

注意：

大多数 1997 年后期以来生产的 IA 主板上的 BIOS 都支持 "El Torito" 标准，因而将 CD-ROM 驱动器识别为引导设备。

您安装 Solaris 软件想通过提示 (1)行吗?
- 如果不想，请转到下一步。
- 如果想，确保窗口显示至少是 80 列宽，24 行长。
  
  注意：
  要确定当前提示窗口的大小，请使用 stty(1) 命令。

您的系统能从 CD 引导吗?
- 如果能，确保使用系统 BIOS 的设置工具打开此 CD。
- 如果不能，将标为 Solaris 8 设备配置助理 Intel 体系结构的软盘插入系统的软盘驱动器。
  
  注意：
  您也可以从 Solaris 驱动程序连接下载 Solaris 8 设备配置助理，网址是：http://soldc.sun.com/support/drivers。

将标有 Solaris 8 安装英文 Intel 平台版本或 Solaris 8 多语言安装 Intel 平台版本的 CD 插入系统的 CD-ROM 驱动器。

按一下 CD-ROM 驱动器前面板上的弹出按钮。滑出一个托盘。将标有 Solaris 8 安装英文 Intel 平台版本或 Solaris 8 多语言安装 Intel 平台版本的 CD (徽标面朝上) 插入托盘。将托盘推入 CD-ROM 驱动器。	要打开 CD 盒，向内按压盒角的同时从中央掀起盖子。插入标有"Solaris 8 安装英文 Intel 平台版本"或"Solaris 8 多语言安装 Intel 平台版本"的 CD (徽标面朝上) 并关闭 CD 盒。让 CD 盒上的箭头指向 CD-ROM 驱动器，插入 CD 盒。

通过退出系统、关闭系统、再打开系统来引导系统。

执行内存测试和硬件检测。屏幕刷新。
- 如果您正在使用标为 Solaris 8 设备配置助理 Intel 体系结构的软盘，消息：
  Solaris Boot Sector Version 1
  就显示在屏幕顶部。然后，显示类似如下的信息：

当显示"Solaris 设备配置助理"屏幕时，按 F2_继续。

然后显示"正在扫描设备"屏幕。对系统设备进行扫描。扫描完成后，显示"已标识的设备"屏幕。

按 F2_继续。
